What's important for your parents

A holiday in a city – will that work? It will in Ingolstadt: not only are we Bavaria's youngest city, but there is also a very high proportion of young families here. So we're totally geared up to catering for children. That means we've thought of everything that kids want – from playgrounds to water parks, and from children's activities at the museum to Audi children's tours. Your little ones will definitely not get bored here! And if you want to schedule some time on your own, there are plenty of childcare options available, giving you the opportunity to explore the city centre's almost Mediterranean flair at a grown-up's pace.

Hi kids! This section is for you!

At last, Mum and Dad really do have time. That means plenty of fun is on the agenda! Why not come to Ingolstadt on holiday: here you can play and roam around, discover fortresses or take to the water on a dinghy. We've plenty of great ideas for things to do. In the summer there's a children's festival in the city centre – obviously complete with a bouncy castle, balloons and ice cream galore. Bookworms can take part in the programme of children's events at the city library – with computer games trials and a LAN party. There's much more for you to do, too. But the best part of it is that it's quick to get here from anywhere in Germany. So the next time someone asks "Are we nearly there yet?", the answer really will be: "Yes!"
